Özet

Kanser hastaları, hastalığın neden olduğu metabolik değişiklikler nedeniyle sıklıkla kilo kaybı ve yetersiz beslenme yaşarlar. Bu, vücudu zayıflatabilir, tedaviye yanıtı bozabilir ve hastanın yaşam kalitesini olumsuz etkileyebilir. Beslenme, bireylerin, özellikle kanser teşhisi konanların genel refahında çok önemli bir rol oynar. Diyet, hastalığın ilerlemesini, tedavi sonuçlarını ve yaşam kalitesini çeşitli yönleriyle etkileyebileceğinden, beslenme ve kanser arasındaki ilişki karmaşıktır. Dengeli ve kişiye özel bir diyet, tedavinin yan etkilerini yönetmeye, bağışıklık sistemini desteklemeye ve vücudun kanserin zorluklarıyla başa çıkma yeteneğini geliştirmeye yardımcı olabilir.
