Synopsis

Günden güne artan obez birey sayıları obeziteyi hem toplumsal bir problem hem de yönetilmesi güç bir sağlık sorunu haline getirmiştir. Diğer tıp bilim dallarında olduğu gibi obez bir hastayı yönetebilmek ortopedi bölümü açısından da zorluklarla doludur. Gerek travma sonrası oluşan kırığın cerrahi mi konservatif tedavi mi olacağı gerekse fiksasyonda kullanılacak malzeme tipinin seçimi obez hastalarda özenle seçilmelidir.
