Obezite ve Komorbiditeler
Synopsis
Obezite dünyada gün geçtikçe yaygıngınlaşıp pandemi olarak nitelendirilmekte ve bir sonuç veya hastalıkların bütünü olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Metabolik hastalıklar, kardiyovasküler hastalıklar, kanser, kas iskelet sistemi hastalıkları, gastrointestinal sistem hastalıkları, reprodüktif döneme ait sağlık problemleri, genitoüriner sistem hastalıkları, psikososyal fonksiyon bozuklukları, respiratuar sistem hastalıkları, cilt değişiklikleri gibi komorbiditeler obeziteye eşlik edebilir. Obezite sonucu bozulan metabolik parametreleri düzeltmek önemlidir fakat asıl hedef obezitenin ortadan kaldırılması olmalıdır. Obezite pandemisi artan bir hızla ilerlerken çocuklukları da içine almaktadır. Geleceğin yetişkinlerini kurtarmak için yapılması gereken en önemli şey, çocukların ve çevrelerinin de eğitilerek erken yaşta obezitenin önlenmesidir.
