Cinsellik ve Cinsel Sağlık: Kavramlar ve Tanımlar
Özet
İnsan cinselliği, oldukça geniş ve karmaşık bir konu olup birçok disiplinin (sağlık bilimleri, sosyoloji, psikoloji, antropoloji, biyoloji, hukuk gibi.) çalışma alanı içine girmektedir. Çeşitli disiplinler tarafından yapılan bilimsel araştırmalar, insan cinselliği hakkında önemli bilgiler sunmuş olsa da hala tam olarak açıklanamayan pek çok soru mevcuttur. Bu aşamada, cinsellik olgusunu çok boyutlu bir perspektiften ele alarak bilimsel terminoloji üzerinden tartışmak ve disiplinlerarası ortak bir dil oluşturmak oldukça önemlidir. Konuya dair kavramlar ve tanımlar üzerine kurulan bilimsel terminolojik ortaklık, multidisipliner iletişimi güçlendiren, toplumsal farkındalığı artıran, pozitif cinsellik algısının kazandırılmasına ve cinsel sağlığın geliştirilmesine katkı sağlayan bir etki yaratabilir. Bu bölümde, cinsellik ve cinsel sağlıkla ilgili temel kavramlar ve tanımlar ele alınmıştır.
