Nörogelişimsel Bozukluğu Olan Çocuklarda Uyku Sağlığı ve Bozuklukları
Özet
Otizm spektrum bozukluğu (OSB), sosyal iletişimin ve sosyal etkileşimin erken gelişiminde kalıcı eksiklikler, kısıtlı ve tekrarlayan davranış aktiviteleri ile karakterize ve zihinsel engellilik ya da global gelişme geriliği ile daha iyi açıklanamayan bir grup nörogelişimsel bozukluklardır. Davranışsal sorunların varlığıyla birlikte, OSB'ye sıklıkla hastaların kendilerinde ve ailelerinde hastalık morbiditesine önemli ölçüde katkıda bulunabilecek çeşitli uyku problemleri eşlik eder. Dikkat eksikliği ve hiperaktivite bozukluğu (DEHB), sürekli dikkatsizlik, değişken derecelerde hiperaktivite ve bazen de dürtüsellik ile karakterize kronik bir durumdur. Otizme benzer şekilde birçok çalışma da DEHB’de yüksek oranda uyku bozukluğu olduğu gösterilmiştir. Bu makalenin amacı otizm spektrum bozukluğu ve dikkat eksikliği hiperaktivite bozukluğu (DEHB) olan çocuklarda uyku bozukluklarının çeşitlerini, nedenlerini, klinik bulgularını, tanı ve tedavisini tartışmak ve koruyucu yaklaşımların önemine dikkati çekmektir.
