Kronik Total Oklüzyonlarda Koroner Arter Kollaterallerinin Görüntüleme Yöntemleri

Synopsis

This section will address the main imaging methods used to evaluate coronary collaterals in patients with chronic total occlusion (CTO), including coronary angiography, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA), and optical coherence tomography (OCT). The role of each method in imaging coronary collaterals in CTO patients, along with their advantages, disadvantages, and relative superiority to one another, will be discussed. Each method has its own unique advantages and disadvantages in assessing collateral circulation in patients with CTO, and the optimal imaging modality should be determined based on the clinical situation, available resources, and patient characteristics. A comprehensive evaluation of collateral circulation is crucial for determining the best treatment strategy in patients with CTO.
